The Comeback selects stock based on salability, profitability, demand, condition, age (new in the last 2 years), brand, style, season and current resale industry trends. Items should be clean inside and out.

We take ladies clothing (from size 00 to 22), authentic luxury pieces, handbags, accessories, footwear, watches in working order, and unopened perfume that has not expired - you can check the date on checkcosmetic.net.

Top selling categories: bags, footwear, athletic and athleisure wear, tops and dresses.

Top selling brands: Eileen Fisher, Lululemon, and luxury brands like Burberry, Louis Vuitton et al.

Consignments (maximum 30 items) are reviewed between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday - Saturday* (*excluding Saturdays of long or holiday weekends - no reviews July 21 - August 5) : stay and shop while we sort through your items and give you back any "no thank you's".

Drop & Run (maximum 100 pieces), where any "no thank you's", are donated directly to charity - typically Canadian Food for Children. Please ensure you include a paper with your full name and phone number with each bin/bag of items. Drop & Runs can be done anytime we're open

Items are queued for processing and can can take as many as 8 weeks to process depending on the volume received. So, get your items in early.

Yes. Any item that experience tells us will not sell for a profit. This may include:

Items without brand labels, fabric content information, cleaning instructions, size indication, or from discount/value brands; items that are altered or flawed.

We do not accept designer "knock offs", wedding attire, worn swim suits or other intimate apparel. Business suits and formal wear are also not in demand.

We take care of pricing with consideration to current resale history and trends. Items may be subject to reductions.

Luxury items (eg. Louis Vuitton) may be subject to third party authentication services and are priced after research.

An account charge of $40 will be applied if a designer item is found to be unidentifiable/inauthentic i.e. a replica.

You will receive the following percentage of the selling price*: (excluding taxes and any fees i.e. battery replacement, drycleaning or buyers fees)

You have up to 1 year from the consignment start date to collect your money. We pay out in cash up to $400. A cheque or e-transfer may be issued upon request for a fee. Payouts over $400 must be paid by cheque or etransfer, there is no etransfer fee for payouts over $400.

We require that consigned items are left for a minimum of 7 weeks:
Items $49.99 and less expire after 60 days;
Items $50.00 and more expire after 90 days.

You, the consignor, are responsible for following up on the status of your account either by website inquiry, email, or in person. You may check your account by accessing: thecomeback.consignoraccess.com

With sufficient notice, we will assist with locating items you wish to reclaim priced at $50 or more: staff time is not allotted to look for items under $50.
Due to the high volume of inventory we process, we do not offer pickups on items priced $50 or less. We feel that we have exhausted all efforts to sell your items during your 8 weeks (changed to hangers, organized by size and category, advertised, marked down by 15% and 35%). At the end of the consignment period it is not cost-effective for us to put any more labour and costs into those items. Items not sold or reclaimed by the expiry date (regardless of price) become property of The Comeback and may be donated to charity at any time after the expiry date. The charities we support are Canadian Food for Children and proceeds from our charity sales are donated to various other charities such as Haven on the Queensway or the Etobicoke Humane Society.

We use security tags and have a security system to aid in the safe keeping of your items. We do not, however, assume responsibility for any loss or damage to consigned items.
